Get your used car loan and always know how much you are able to afford before talking to a car salesman. This will give you the “upper hand” when it comes to negotiating, and you will always get the lowest price.

If you are paying cash, then you know exactly how much you can spend. If you are looking at financing, have your used car loan approved before you ever hit the showroom.
